Kathleen B. Wilson, RN, MSN, CNE
Instructor - Department of Nursing
Kathleen B. Wilson is the coordinator in the RN to BSN Program in the Department of Nursing at UL Lafayette, as well as an instructor. She has a Master's Degree in Nursing Education from UL Lafayette and holds the designation of Certified Nursing Educator as well as ULearn Certified Online Teacher and ULearn Certified Course Designer. Mrs. Wilson was a recipient of the 2013 Acadiana Celebrates Nursing honor and has attained Quality Matters certification for six courses within the RN to BSN program.
Mrs. Wilson has been a classroom and clinical instructor in the Department of Nursing for eight years. Her teaching experience includes development of a hybrid course, which combines online instruction with traditional aspects of the classroom. Mrs. Wilson's experience also includes medical-surgical nursing, intensive care nursing, hospital risk management within a hospital, and serving as chief nursing officer in a nursing home. She has co-authored three articles, a book chapter and has completed a research project along with the article for publication.
